About Us
Josh and Ben have always had a passion for trying new coffees. The two brothers have bonded over this similar interest that drove them to create a blend of their own. At first, we tried do-it-yourself methods such as roasting coffee in the oven and in a frying pan. However, after we almost burnt the house down with oven-roasting the coffee, we decided that it was time to pursue our passion and invest in a real coffee roaster.
Our first coffee roaster was a 1/4 lb capacity machine. While it wasn't able to roast coffee quickly, it allowed us to taste test coffees from around the world until we were able to come up with our first coffee blend. Once our business began to surge, it quickly became difficult to use our small roaster because it would take us almost 2 hours to roast a pound of coffee.
After a while, we ordered a much more industrial machine that has allowed us to amp up our production quite a bit. We now can roast a pound of coffee at a time which allows us to make 4-5lbs of coffee in one roasting session.
